Esports Marketing Manager

  • Responsible for building the Esports brand in Brazil, with the objective of expanding its recognition in the country and promoting an innovative experience for the game consumer, through marketing strategies that strengthen and make the brand a reference in the market.
Job Description
  • Manage the Esports team's marketing area, being responsible for leading, managing, and supporting the brand, creative, social media, and influencer teams;
  • Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns for all audiences, including online and offline media, while maintaining message and creative consistency;
  • Understand the local consumer (through research and insights) to ensure the correct positioning of the " Garena Esports" brand for Brazil, following global guidelines;
  • As the global Esports brand team's focal point, you will ensure proper communication and alignments for local creations or co-creations for campaigns and/or events;
  • Manage the lifecycle of content, projects, and campaigns—always ensuring the final quality of delivery according to Garena's standards and policies;
  • Responsible for managing and briefing agencies and external partners (creatives and media) - always with the direction of creating an innovative brand and serving our consumer;
  • Work closely with PR, Communication and Revenue teams to understand the company's goals and strategies and ensure better results;
  • Manage deliveries of functional marketing teams, ensuring creative excellence, message consistency and deadline;
  • Manage the creative process and deliveries, as previously aligned with Esports marketing strategies (internal and external partners) and marketing teams.

 

Job Requirements
  • Level of Education/Academic Education: Complete Degree in Administration, Advertising, or Social Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related areas. An MBA or equivalent is desirable;
  • Experience: Solid years of experience in marketing teams, with desirable knowledge in campaign development and brand strategy;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Experience in presentations to leaders: concept development, ideas;
  • Understanding of trends, especially linked to popular culture (music, movies, fashion, etc.).
