Job Description

1. Lead the overall IP building strategy that answers the questions “what” “how” and “when” for different IP initiatives

2. Develop channel and distribution strategy for IP content, goods or services

3. Act as the voices of consumers and stay on top of category or industry trends related to IPs. Conduct extensive consumer and industry researches, and incorporate the insights in the IP building strategy

4. Influence and align with key stakeholders from both global and local teams. Share underlying issues and opportunities related to IP building, and recommend actionable solutions

5. Lead IP-related business development, including sourcing for partners or vendors, and negotiating various deals such as sponsorship, licensing, acquisition, joint venture, and cross collaboration

6. Be the project manager for a few key IP initiatives, oversee critical milestones and drive on-time in-full deliveries of outputs by closely coordinating both internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements

1. 5+ years working experience related to IP building in a PC/Console/Mobile game title, or in the entertainment industry such as comic or movie

2. Fluent in both English and Mandarin. Excellent at both writing and verbal communication

3. Excellent influencing and negotiation skill. Have experience in negotiating acquisition, cross collaboration, etc.

4. Have a self-assured and confident personality and is good at stakeholder management and conflict management

5. Have both strategic big-picture thinking and attention to details

6. Display high self-motivation and entrepreneurial mindset in growing the business and the team

7. An effective team worker

8. Having international experience is a plus
