Esport Marketing Specialist
As an Esports Marketing Specialist, you will be someone who develops and executes marketing strategies to promote esports campaigns, events, pro teams, pro players’ persona, creators, and communities, leveraging on digital platforms, audience behavior, and relationships with industry players. You will have the freedom in expressing your creativity and expertise through various campaigns and initiatives to bring a positive impact to our esports ecosystem and to the overall business.
Job Description
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote esports campaigns, events, pro teams, pro players’ persona, creators and communities, leveraging on digital platforms, audience behavior and relationship with industry players
- Create and run esports social media campaigns and manage esports content distribution through social media, digital marketing and in-game channels
- Craft engaging narratives and storyline to promote esports campaigns and esports persona, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to package and roll out the message to the audience
- Track, analyze and drive the key marketing esports performance across channels, covering but not limited to, viewership, engagement, impressions, reach and users’ qualitative feedback
- Identify various esports target audience and gain insights on their content style preference, enabling us to serve and tailor creative campaigns to reach and engage each of them
- Utilize various marketing channels, including social media, creator partnerships, media partners to promote esports contents
Job Requirements
- At least 1-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably in esports, gaming or entertainment industry
- Strong understanding in esports ecosystem, including the esports scene in the market with in-depth knowledge of esports pro players, pro teams, creators, esports audience and its communities
- Creative in designing attractive and engaging esports marketing contents and campaigns to drive esports performance
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, able to run projects effectively and collaborate well with other team members and external parties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage pro players, pro teams, creators and communities
- Good logical thinking and analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of the campaigns and gain insights of our esports content performance
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, content creation, and analytics
- Critical problem-solver, able to identify core issues from multiple perspectives and drive the right approach to solve them efficiently within timelines
- Avid learner, eager to explore new trends and to adapt fast in implementing dynamic strategies in a fast-paced environment
