Associate/Senior Associate, Global Esports League Ops and Player Management
Job Description
- Execute global league operations SOPs across regional tournaments, including adapting and enforcing global rulebooks, competitive formats, and scoring systems.
- Manage end-to-end tournament operations for both online and offline events: team onboarding, match scheduling, result tracking, and real-time rule enforcement.
- Oversee live match operations and resolve disputes or escalations with professionalism and fairness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for professional teams and players, fostering strong relationships and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Develop and implement policies for player conduct, ensuring adherence to league rules and professional standards.
- Facilitate logistical support for players and teams, including travel, accommodation, and practice facilities.
- Collaborate with content and broadcast teams to align schedules, storylines, and on-air segments to enhance audience engagement.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in esports tournament operations, league management, or team operations (publisher, TO, or team side).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by tournament schedules. This role may involve frequent regional travel to various countries for work-related assignments.
- Strong understanding of competitive integrity, player behavior policies, and dispute resolution.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiar with esports rulesets, formats, and compliance frameworks from top titles (LoL, MLBB, PUBG, etc.).
- Good understanding of the Battle Royale genre and its competitive esports ecosystem.
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills during live events.
- Experience working in global or cross-regional esports tournaments is highly preferred.
