Product Operations (Contract Based)
The Product Ops role is responsible for managing local product operations for a social media platform during launch and growth phases. This role bridges users, market needs, and product development by driving feature analysis, user insights, operational readiness, and continuous optimization. Working closely with developers and cross-functional teams, the role ensures the product is localized, functional, and continuously improving based on real user behavior.
Job Description
- Product & Feature Performance Analysis | Monitor and analyze feature usage, user behavior, and engagement metrics during launch and growth phases.
- User Research & Insight Generation | Conduct user research independently or in collaboration with strategic research teams to identify pain points and needs.
- Product Optimization & Requirement Definition | Translate insights and feedback into clear optimization requirements, feature adjustments, and improvement proposals.
- Developer Collaboration | Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, discuss feasibility, and support feature design and issue resolution.
- Live Ops & Localization | Manage local product operations including localization, configuration, and market-specific settings.
- Cross-Team Product Support | Support internal teams by understanding operational needs and enabling product adjustments where required.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in product operations, product management, or product-related roles for digital products or platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience analyzing user behavior and feature performance metrics.
- Proven experience working directly with developers, designers, or engineers.
- Ability to translate complex user or business needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Strong prioritization skills, able to balance impact, urgency, and feasibility.
- Detail-oriented while maintaining a big-picture understanding of product goals.
- Clear, concise communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative, and ambiguous environments.
