Product Operations Associate – Craftland / Sandbox
Craftland is Free Fire’s custom mode ecosystem, enabling players to create (UGC) and experience curated custom maps (PUGC) within a sandbox-style environment. As a Craftland Product Associate, you will tasked to handle end-to-end operations of Craftland publishing in Indonesia. This role is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting all Craftland related initiatives to ensure sustainable ecosystem growth and strong performance against Craftland’s core metrics.
You will manage the full Craftland lifecycle, from content strategy and creator ecosystem development to freelance developer management and awareness growth initiatives. This includes translating user and creator insights into actionable improvements, driving high-quality PUGC production, strengthening the UGC community structure, and continuously optimizing Craftland’s participation rate, playtime, and retention rate.
This role requires strong ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to independently manage cross-functional execution in a fast-paced gaming environment.
- Monitor key Craftland performance metrics (participation rate, playtime, retention), analyze performance trends, and produce structured reports with recommendations.
- Operate independently in planning, execution, and reporting of Craftland initiatives, ensuring cross-team alignment when needed.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand Indonesian Craftland players’ and creators’ pain points, and translate findings into actionable product hygiene improvements or content strategies.
- Maintain and grow the existing UGC creator community, ensuring strong engagement, structured communication, and long-term creator program sustainability.
- Manage freelance developers to deliver high-quality PUGC maps, including concept briefing, milestone tracking, QA coordination, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor UGC gaming trends (e.g., sandbox games, viral modes) and transform trending concepts into executable Craftland map ideas.
- Fresh graduate with strong leadership experience in university organizations OR young professional with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding and passion for UGC-based games, sandbox ecosystems, and gaming trends
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Experience in managing team projects (organizational or professional experience acceptable).
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills; able to convert user pain points into concrete action plans.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in coordinating freelancers and external contributors.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English (written and verbal).
