Job Description
- Art Vision & Direction: Define and establish the overall visual style and artistic direction for midcore and casual game projects.
- Art Development: Create key visual assets such as concept art, style references, and prototype visuals to guide production.
- Visual Consistency: Ensure all in-game assets maintain a consistent visual style and meet quality standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with game designers and engineers to align art direction with gameplay and technical requirements.
- Art Pipeline Setup: Help define art workflows and guidelines to support efficient asset production.
- Art Quality Review: Provide feedback on art assets produced internally or by external partners when needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Animation, or related fields.
- 4 years experience in game art, preferably in mobile game development.
- Art Fundamentals & Visual Style: Strong foundation in composition, color theory, lighting, and visual storytelling, with the ability to define and maintain a consistent visual style for the game.
- Self-starter mindset: Ability to take ownership of tasks, proactively identify problems, and drive solutions without relying heavily on detailed instructions.
- Curiosity & fast learning ability: Demonstrates strong curiosity about different game genres, art styles, and production systems; able to quickly learn and adopt new tools or workflows. Shows a habit of continuous self-learning beyond assigned tasks.
- Demonstrates a proactive mindset in leveraging AI tools and automation to improve productivity and work quality
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional game development team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present artistic ideas and collaborate with designers, developers, and producers.
- Fluent English communication skills.
