Senior Associate/Assistant Manager, Strategy & Investment
As part of the Strategy team, you will work on strategic planning, analysis, insight generation and needle-moving initiatives within Garena, where fast business expansion has posed exciting opportunities and challenges. You will be working closely with senior management, in a fast-paced, global and intellectually stimulating environment, with the potential to deliver direct impact to our business.
Job Description
- Source global gaming investment opportunities with a primary focus on US/EU.
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, studios, and gaming venture capital firms.
- Generate proprietary and early-access deal flow.
- Lead deals from sourcing to evaluation and execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable university.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in venture capital, gaming investment, or gaming BD with deal-making experience.
- Proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments in US/EU gaming studios.
- Existing network within the global gaming ecosystem (founders, studios, VCs), particularly across US/EU.
- Demonstrated ability to generate outbound deal flow (not inbound-driven).
