Intern, Animator (Roblox)
Job Description
- Create original animations for gameplay actions such as movement, combat, mining, interaction, and item-related actions.
- Build 3D models, props, environment assets, and visual content for Roblox games.
- Translate gameplay concepts into assets and animations that are visually clear and appealing in-game.
- Iterate based on feedback from the team and improve work over multiple rounds.
- Ensure assets and animations are practical for in-game use, including style, readability, and performance considerations.
- Contribute to the overall polish, game feel, and player-facing quality of the experience.
Job Requirements
- Ability to create original work from scratch.
- Understanding of game-ready asset creation, including visual quality, usability, and fit for gameplay.
- Ability to explain your work, creative decisions, and process clearly.
- Prior experience building for Roblox is a plus.
- Experience with stylized, gameplay-focused, or interactive asset creation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Roblox pipelines or implementation workflows is a plus.
- Ability to think from a game designer point of view is a plus.
- Portfolio is required, must include relevant animation, modeling, game asset work, or Roblox-related projects.
