Job Description
  • Build and manage the studio's player community across platforms (e.g., Discord, social channels, forums).
  • Gather and synthesize player feedback from playtests, demos, and public releases into actionable insights.
  • Support early marketing experiments to test player interest in game concepts and features. 
  • Create, edit, and publish lightweight promotional content (gameplay clips, posts, dev updates) to support visibility and engagement. 
  • Work closely with the game team to align messaging with game direction and social gameplay moments.
  • Track and report community signals (engagement, sentiment, participation) to inform development decisions. 
  • Leverage AI tools and agents to support and streamline the above, including content creation, player feedback synthesis, and community monitoring, building these into lightweight, repeatable workflows.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience managing online communities or social platforms for games or digital products.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, image/video generation, agent platforms) for marketing or community work such as content creation, analysis, or workflow automation, with a willingness to continuously adopt new AI capabilities.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to engage players authentically.
  • Basic understanding of game development cycles and how to gather feedback from players.
  • Comfortable running small-scale marketing tests and interpreting engagement signals.
  • Organized and able to manage ongoing community activities alongside releases or playtests.
  • Experience creating and publishing marketing content, with a portfolio of gameplay clips, social posts, or community-driven content. AI-assisted work is welcome, with an emphasis on judgment and curation.

This position is offered on a 1 year contract basis.
