Video Editor - RoV Esports (Contract)
Job Description
- Edit short-form video content based on briefs from the creative/content team.
- Incorporate gameplay footage, memes, overlays, and sound to boost engagement.
- Optimize editing for TikTok/vertical formats (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
- Work closely with our content strategist and social team on revisions and feedback.
- Ensure fast turnaround times, especially during tournament periods.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience editing content for digital or social platforms.
- Freelance or project-based editing background.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar video editing tools with knowledge of current editing trends (e.g., fast cuts, meme layering, trending audio)
- Ability to edit for TikTok/vertical-first platforms with strong visual rhythm.
- Passion in games:
- Interested in RoV and Esports content. (Hardcore RoV player or viewer of RPL tournaments is preferred)
- Able to identify key moments from matches, player reactions, or highlight-worthy plays. - Familiar with popular Esports teams like Bacon, Talon, Buriram and key pro players.
- Comfortable working with feedback and managing revisions.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with gaming, entertainment, or content marketing teams is preferred.
