Marketing and Community Specialist (Contract)
Job Description
- Build and manage the studio’s player community across platforms (e.g., Discord, social channels, forums).
- Gather and synthesize player feedback from playtests, demos, and public releases into actionable insights.
- Support early marketing experiments to test player interest in game concepts and features.
- Create, edit, and publish lightweight promotional content (gameplay clips, posts, dev updates) to support visibility and engagement.

- Work closely with the game team to align messaging with game direction and social gameplay moments.
- Track and report community signals (engagement, sentiment, participation) to inform development decisions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of experience managing online communities or social platforms for games or digital products.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to engage players authentically.
- Basic understanding of game development cycles and how to gather feedback from players.
- Comfortable running small-scale marketing tests and interpreting engagement signals.
- Organized and able to manage ongoing community activities alongside releases or playtests.
- Experience creating and publishing marketing content, with a portfolio of gameplay clips, social posts, or community-driven content.
This position is offered on a 1 year contract basis.
