Singapore Game Design Experienced (Individual Contributor)
Job Description
  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and iteration of game mechanics, systems, and levels for incubation projects. 
  • Develop compelling gameplay loops, player progression models, and core interaction patterns. 
  • Create design documentation (GDDs, feature specs, wireframes) to communicate design intent. 
  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement and refine gameplay features. 
  • Run and evaluate playtests to gather user feedback and continuously improve prototypes. 
  • Maintain a backlog of viable game concepts and contribute to ideation pipelines. 
  • Support game pitches and internal evaluations by presenting design thinking and rationale.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (including internship) in game design, preferably with shipped titles or prototypes. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design systems, levels, or full game experiences. 
  • Proficiency with game engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal Engine) and design tools (e.g. level editors, visual scripting).
  • Solid grasp of user experience, player psychology, and retention mechanics. 
  • Comfortable iterating quickly and integrating feedback into design cycles. 
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for design handoff and collaboration.
