Junior Programmer
Job Description
- Design and build playable prototypes focusing on core gameplay loops, mechanics, and systems to validate "fun" early in the process.
- Support rapid development cycles from initial build to final decision-making, ensuring that prototypes are delivered on time for evaluation.
- Prepare, debug, and optimize prototypes built for internal and external testing
- Collaborate closely with Game Designers to refine "game feel" through rapid code adjustments and variable tuning based on playtest feedback.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience with Unity (C#) or Roblox Studio
- Ability to build and iterate gameplay prototypes quickly.
- Familiarity with implementing First-Time User Experiences (FTUE), functional UI systems, and simple instrumentation to track player behavior
- Strong debugging skills and a disciplined approach to project scope, ensuring features are polished enough for testing without over-engineering.
- Comfortable operating in a high-velocity, ambiguous environment where project goals may shift rapidly based on playtest data and iteration results
